Applicants who will be writing WASSCE in 2023 are eligible to apply. Programs at the College of Health Sciences, excluding those at the School of Allied Health Sciences, are offered as first-choice programs only. For second and third choices, applicants must choose courses in the sciences.

Admission Guidelines for B.Sc. Administration or Bachelor of Laws
• Applicants choosing B.Sc. Administration or LLB should choose the Bachelor of Arts program as their second choice.
• Up to four subject bouquets must be selected in order of preference for the Bachelor of Arts program.
• Students must offer three subjects at Level 100, two at Levels 200 and 300, and either two or one at Level 400.
• Applicants unable to meet competitive cut-off points may opt for the fee-paying scheme.
• Mature Students Admission has been reintroduced into the Bachelor of Arts Distance Education (DE) Program since 2017/2018.
• All applications must be submitted online and considered based on the result equivalents provided by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
• Acceptable qualifications include Senior Secondary School Certificates, Baccalaureate, International Baccalaureate, GCE, GCSE, American High School, and other external qualifications.
• Applicants with a certificate or diploma from the University of Ghana from 1996 should indicate their student ID numbers on their application forms.
• The University of Ghana has ceased admitting applicants with the West African Examination Council Ordinary and Advanced Level Certificates since 2007/2008.
The College of Basic and Applied Sciences offers FIRST-CHOICE programs such as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, and Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering.

Acquiring E-voucher:
Ghanaian applicants can obtain the application e-voucher for GH¢ 220.00 through USSD Payment or designated banks.
Banks include Access Bank, Zenith Bank, Universal Merchant Bank, Ecobank, Republic Bank, Agricultural Development Bank, GCB Bank, Unibank, Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), Prudential Bank, First Atlantic Bank, and Fidelity Bank.
Follow the instructions on the voucher carefully when completing the online application form.
Necessary documentation (for non-University of Ghana graduates):
