As part of the Premier Partnership with Camden County College, the International Chancellor’s Scholarship for Camden County College puts a Rutgers degree within reach for non-sponsored, international students who hold an F-1 visa.

Rutgers University–Camden will offer scholarships up to $15,000 to all non-sponsored, international applicants who meet admission requirements and enroll full-time in the College of Arts and Sciences or the School of Business. All scholarships are contingent upon meeting Rutgers-Camden’s admission requirements.

Applicants with GRE scores in the ranges below can receive an additional merit scholarship:

• greater than 158: additional $4,000 (total scholarship of $14,000; $7,000 per semester)
• 151-157: additional $2,000 (total scholarship of $12,000; $6,000 per semester)

Eligibility Criteria for the Rutgers International Chancellor’s Scholarship

To be eligible for Rutgers International Chancellor’s Scholarship for International Students, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:

• Applicants must be non-sponsored international F-1 visa students, (not sponsored by a government agency but who self-pay)
• Applicants must have proof of English Language proficiency
• Applicants must be international students
• Applicants must be ready to enroll in a full-time program
• Applicants who graduate from Camden County College with an associate of science (A.S.), associate of arts (A.A.), or associate of fine arts (A.F.A.) degree, and meet Rutgers–Camden admission requirements.

You will be eligible for this scholarship if;

• You attend (or have graduated from) a secondary school outside of the United States.
• You demonstrate interest and personal initiative in activities involving intercultural learning and exchange.
• You have completed the scholarship application and a 500-1,000 word essay or a 2-5 minute video describing your aspirations to conduct projects, research, employment, or other experiences that will advance intercultural learning.
• You are a first-year international applicant to a participating college or university. An international applicant is an individual who holds citizenship in a country outside the United States and who does not also possess U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

Application Procedures for the Rutgers International Chancellor’s Scholarship

To begin the Application, below are the required steps you will need to follow:

• Apply for admission to Rutgers University-Camden and submit all required application materials.
• Complete the online scholarship application, including a 500-1,000 word essay or a 2-5 minute video describing your aspirations to conduct projects, employment, research, or other experiences that will advance intercultural learning.
• Please note that the essays can be submitted with the online application. If submitting a video, please email it to ois@camden.rutgers.edu with the subject line: #Youarewelcomehere Video. Please include your name and RUID in the body of the email.
