The Most Complete List of Illegal Universities in Nigeria (2024 UPDATE)

List of Illegal Universities in Nigeria

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has taken a firm stance against unlicensed universities operating in Nigeria. Under the leadership of Professor Abubakar Adamu Rasheed, the NUC has closed down over 50 unlicensed institutions, often referred to as “degree mills,” for violating the Education (National Minimum Standards, etc.) Act CAP E3 Law of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
