Umar Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, Sokoto Announces 2nd Batch Admission List for 2024/2025 Academic Session

We are thrilled to share the latest update from Umar Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, Sokoto, as the institution officially releases its second batch admission list for the 2024–2025 academic session. The management has made the list of admitted candidates available on the school’s notice board.

How to Check Your Admission Status

Method 1: JAMB Portal

Candidates can follow these simple steps to check their admission status on both the JAMB CAPS Portal and the JAMB Admission Checking Portal:

1. Visit theJAMB facility.
2. Log in to your JAMB profile using your username and password.
3. Scroll down and locate the ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.
4. Click on ‘Admission Status.’
5. Choose ‘Access my CAPS.’
6. Select the three dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser and tick ‘Desktop site.’
7. Click on ‘Admission Status.’
8. You will see either ‘Admission in progress or check back later. ‘Not Admitted,’ or ‘Congratulations.’
   • Case 1: If you see ‘Congratulations,’ accept or reject your admission and wait for further instructions.
   • Case 2: If you see ‘Admission in progress,’ be patient; the status will change in a few days or weeks. Check back later.
   • Case 3: If ‘Not Admitted,’ don’t lose hope; you might still gain admission. Stay hopeful!

Method 2: School Notice Board

Visit the Umar Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, Sokoto, and check the notice board for the second batch admission list.

Actions for Admitted ND Candidates

Candidates successfully admitted into the ND programs are advised to:

1. Log in to their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and accept or reject their admission.
2. Print their JAMB admission letter after accepting the admission.
3. Print their original JAMB result slip (with a passport photograph affixed).
4. Apply for a change of course on the JAMB Portal if offered courses different from their initial choices.

General Notice

The management also informs all candidates and the general public that the first choice for the 2022 JAMB admission to the institution has been released. Those who chose Umar Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic as their first choice should check their respective CAPS e-facility, accept and print their admission letter, and proceed to the institution for registration.

Additionally, qualified candidates who scored a minimum of 100 marks in the 2022 JAMB are encouraged to visit any CBT center for a change of institution to Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic as their first choice. Ensure to upload your O’ level result to facilitate the admission process.
