Eligibility Criteria for the University of Birmingham Law School
To be eligible for University of Birmingham Law School Scholarships, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Applicants must not already Registered in a program at the University of Birmingham
- Applicants must receive an offer
- Applicants must be Self-funded
- Applicants must be international students

Application Procedures
How to Apply: To be considered for an award, applicants must have done both of the following:
- Made an application to their intended undergraduate law program. Please apply through UCAS via the relevant program page on the undergraduate law section of the University of Birmingham website.
- Complete the LLB and LLB for Graduates Scholarship application form.
- The application includes a 2000-character (approximately 300 words) statement, in which students should address why they should be made an award. You must include your UCAS ID number in your application.

- What is the tuition fee to attend the Birmingham School of Law
Tuition and fees are subject to change every year. Please see the tuition and fees page for the most current rates.
- What does the student and technology fee cover
These fees cover access to Westlaw, CALI lessons, and maintenance of all things IT-related.
- Does BSL participate in any veteran education programs?
Since they are an unaccredited school, we are not able to participate in veteran education programs.
- How many terms is BSL open for classes each year?
BSL operates on a year-round basis, scheduling three terms of equal length every year (fall, spring, and summer). All students must attend all three terms unless circumstances beyond the student’s control prevent year-round attendance.
- How many courses may you schedule each term?
In most cases, BSL students must schedule no more and no less than three courses each term. At the discretion of the Assistant Dean, a student may be allowed to take two courses during a term, of four to five with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
