- OFID Scholarship Award

The winner of the OFID Scholarship Award will get tuition support of up to $50,000 plus a monthly allowance to take care of the students’ living expenses, accommodation, and books.

- Science and technology,
And other development-related fields at participating academic institutions in the Asian and Pacific Region.
This scholarship covers the students’ full tuition fees, a monthly subsistence, and housing allowance, an allowance for books and institutional materials, medical insurance, and travel expenses.
- DAAD Scholarships for Development Related Postgraduate Courses
This German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers scholarships to international students for a range of postgraduate courses related to development at German Universities. They aim to provide further specialized studies to academically educated young professionals from developing countries.
The scholarship includes a monthly payment of 750 euros for graduates or 1,000 euros for doctoral candidates. They also make payments towards health, accident, and personal liability insurance cover, and travel allowance, unless these expenses are covered by the home country or another source of funding.
- KAAD Scholarships for Developing Countries
These scholarships are offered to post-graduates and to academics who already gained professional experience and who are interested in postgraduate studies in Germany. The scholarships are targeted to citizens of developing countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, or Latin America.
- Hubert Humphrey Fellowships Program
The Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program provides a year of professional training in the United States for experienced professionals from designated countries throughout the world. The program takes care of the student’s tuition fees, living allowance, accident and sickness coverage, air travel, and allowance.
- Commonwealth Scholarships
The Commonwealth Scholarships are targeted to students from developing Commonwealth countries who want to pursue PhD and master’s studies in the UK. Each scholarship provides airfare to and from the United Kingdom, a personal maintenance allowance, tuition and examination fees, and a thesis grant (if applicable).
- Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust Masters Scholarships at the University of Sheffield
The University of Sheffield in collaboration with the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust and the Sheffield Institute for International Development, offers 3 scholarships every year to international students from developing countries for several courses that are connected to the Sheffield Institute for International Development.
Each scholarship offers a full tuition fee dispensation, maintenance for the University’s accommodation, and a monthly stipend.
- Louis Dreyfus-Weidenfeld Scholarship and Leadership Program
The Louis Dreyfus-Weidenfeld Scholarship and Leadership program supports outstanding students from emerging countries throughout Africa, Asia, and South America to pursue a graduate degree at Oxford University.
The graduate programs are related to agriculture, health care, environmental and water management, economics, and public and foreign policy. The scholarship will also cover 100% of the University’s and college fees and a grant for living costs.
- Allan and Nesta Ferguson Global Development Scholarships at the University of East Anglia
The School of International Development offers competitive scholarships equivalent to full EU or International fees to students taking any of the full-time Master’s courses offered at the University of East Anglia. The scholarship covers full tuition fees worth £17,600.
- VLIR-UOS Scholarship Program
Each year, VLIR-UOS awards scholarships to students from developing countries to study in any of the 15 International Course Programmes (ICPs) or one of the 6 International Training Programs (ITPs) in development-related fields. The scholarship covers all related expenses including accommodation, allowance, travel costs, tuition fees, and insurance.
